SCAN 215

SCAN 215 is a product that improvers
forming a corrosion protective film in open or
circulating cooling water system. this product
contains with phosphate anti-corrosion agents,
it helps forming a hard and fine film that
protects the base metal from corrosion.

Features
- Appearance : Colorless or pale yellowish liquid
- Viscosity(CPS) : Max. 100 (Brookfield #62, 60rpm)
- Specific garvity : 1.1 ± 0.05

Benefits
- It is especially effective when the calcium
concentration in water is lower than
30 ppm but other corrosive ions are present in abundance.
- Its anti-corrosion effect is prominent when
used together with phosphate.
- In dry season or when water quality is low,
it can be used temporarily as a anticorrosive agent.
- Easily handled in liquid state.

Application
- Basic dosing method Dose 100 ~ 200
ppm based on water quantity.
(Use together with SCAN 400)
- If used maintain the concentration in
the circulating water in 10 ~ 20 ppm.
- SCAN 215 is in liquid state therefore it does
not need dissolving. It can be injected
continuously into the water tank of cooling
tower, but anti-corrosive injection devices
and pipelines should be chosen because
it is an acidic product.

Handling & storing

- Wear protective gear.
- Wash thoroughly with fresh water if skin contacts.
- Close tightly and store at cool dark place if not in use.
- Do not use empty container for other purpose
